King of Kings Baptist Church is located on the western side of the beautiful Fish Hoek valley on the south western tip of South Africa. Surrounded by spectacular mountains and between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans we endeavour to serve the community of the Southern Cape Peninsula in a meaningful and relevant way to make the Lord Jesus Christ a reality in their lives.
Our theme for the year is based on Matthew 22:37 to 39 and also Matthew 28:19 to 20 which reads:
MT 22:37 Jesus replied: " `Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: `Love your neighbor as yourself.'
and
MT 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Our theme is "Love God, Love People, Make Disciples". Our heart is to firstly develop a dynamic and living relationship with God, secondly to have a compassion for people that is demonstrated in practical ways and thirdly to bring people to a saving knowledge and relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
