2) We believe that the anointed
teaching of God’s Word is the catalyst for transformation in
individuals’ lives and in the church.This includes teaching for
life change in character and conduct.

should be continually relevant to our community without compromising
our beliefs.This includes sensitively relating to all age groups
through relevant methods of preaching, teaching, drama, worship and
music.
4) We believe that every
Christian should be personally developing and enjoying their
relationship with God.This includes fostering an ongoing authentic
lifestyle that is devotional in character and real in its practical
outworking.
5) We believe that every
Christian should actively fulfil their role in the church by using and
developing their spiritual gifts and talents.This includes the
pastors’ training and equipping everyone so that they discover
their gifts and without exception all do the work of the ministry.
6) We believe that loving and
caring relationships should permeate every aspect of church life.This
includes making every effort to keep the unity of the Holy Spirit;
demonstrating honesty and integrity in every relationship.
7) We believe that life change
and care happens best in small groups.This includes urging every member
to be vitally involved in a cell group, where discipleship, openness,
support and encouragement take place.
8) We believe that excellence honours God and inspires people.This includes every department striving to do their best.
9) We believe that the church
should be led by men and women with leadership gifts.This includes the
focussing of goals, planning and organising the church in a servant
leadership style with the church being in agreement.
