RAN promotes the opportunity for like-minded people to combine efforts to reach a specific people group through radio. An anchor church or project leader is appointed to co-ordinate groups to ensure their vision is carried out in an efficient (without duplication of effort or resources) and timeous manner. |
Fish Hoek Baptist church is the anchor church of RAN. RAN is a partnership of international ministries and organisations currently involved in Radio Evangelism and related ministries. Each offers their expertise or resources. You, your local church or organization is invited to join the partnership to reach the unreached with the Gospel of Christ. |

OWNERSHIP |

A committee of local representatives from all interested parties is formed at the start of a project and they jointly apply for a broadcast license in their country. Once RAN and partners have assisted them and installation and training is complete, then ownership and complete responsibility falls to the license holders. |

WHY Fm RADIO? |

Radio is the communication medium of Africa today. + More homes have radio than access to running water. + It transcends borders, distance, infrastructure and cultures. + Radio reaches into the privacy of homes where people are free from fear. + Identified response to broadcasts leads to church planting and discipleship. + Specific community needs can be addressed i.e. Heath and Education alongside the Gospel. + Local radio speaks the local language. One person behind a mic reaches many, instantaneously. |
