Who do you orbit around? I want to encourage you church, that if you are focusing your time and energy, your orbit, on anything other than Jesus then you are on unstable ground. In Him we have purpose and mercy. In Him we have forgiveness. In Him you find your true identity. Is your life all about Jesus? As a church, I want that to be our focus. Personality, programmes and pastors will come and go, but as a church, King of Kings must be all about Jesus

We all have dreams and hopes for the future. When we are young, we have guarded optimism for the way our lives will play out. Maybe you dreamed of getting a fabulous job earning a huge salary. Possibly you dreamed of getting married. Young women dream of marrying Walker Texas Ranger and young men dream of marrying a supermodel but with the personality of… well no, that hasn’t cross their minds. Young families believe their children will grow up to be Nobel Peace Prize winners as well as Springbok star sports people.
Life, in the real world, has a way of eroding dreams.
